  • Palm Sunday

    I took these pictures just a few minutes ago. Very fitting for Palm Sunday.

     The sun rises at around 6.30 now.

    Last night I drove to the Greek Orthodox Church in Jebel Ali for the Palm Sunday celebrations. It was absolutely packed.

    All the children were carrying candles.

    The procession became slightly chaotic with so many people, and at one point no-one seemed to know whether were were still walking outside or coming back into the church.

  • Wishing you a happy birthday.  Your palm trees with the backdrop of the morning sun are beautiful.  I'm glad I got to see them today as they will be the only palms I'll get to see, a sad truth.  Hoping you are doing well.  You sound very upbeat and happy so am sure you are.  No sandstorms here to clean up after but we did have some snow this year.  Spring is now sprung, flowers coming up and sun shine a lot of the days and rain at night.  The world is still a wonderous place.  Stay well.  .
