This sounds like what I've heard growing up. Is this from a Good Friday service? I can't translate.
Some weeks ago I was able to attend to a presentation of the Gospel of TSAR IVAN ALEXANDER. They gave us the book and the dvd.I was fascinated and in the dvd there is a lot of music and chanting like the one you posted. It was organized by the Bulgarian authorities to promote the country.

@vickyvix - Yes, that was from Good Friday. I can't hear it very clearly, either. I only really get some of it if I'm standing with the English translation in front of me - then I reconise words like "kodouz" or "youm" etc.
