    I bought this beautiful Nativity icon above while living in Egypt. Click here to listen to a "Christmas Carol" in Arabic, not very unlike what you might hear in my church here in Muscat - though we don't have the polished background singing.

  • The icon is stunning and you really set it off right for the Christmas season on the red.  Just stunning to come to the page and see it.  I am listening to the youtube music while I am typing and it is different and beautiful.

    I wanted to thank you for your comment on my Christmas entry, I do a lot of things that get me into trouble.  This time a simple comma, missing in my entry, caused me to lose the comments in my post.  I had planned on sending each of you a reply in thanks but am relying on my memory for the names of those who visited and commented.  So, thank you so much, bjorn, I appreciate you always and look forward to your visits to my entries at any time of your choice.

    Have a very Happy New Year.  I hope the world will, in spite of my "periodic pessimisic views", move forward to a better place in it's postitioning for all of us.
